Loghaven is an offline-first time and job tracking application. Your work data is stored locally on your device and is not sent to the Loghaven developer or to third-party servers.
Information stored by Loghaven
Depending on how you use the app, Loghaven may store information such as:
- Jobs, clients, and tasks
- Time entries and breaks
- Notes
- Hourly rates and calculated earnings
- App preferences and settings
- Export history
This information is stored locally on your device.
Data collection and sharing
Loghaven does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data with the developer or third parties.
Loghaven does not contain advertising, analytics, tracking, or telemetry services.
Backups and exports
Loghaven allows you to create backups and export your data.
Automatic backups are saved to a folder that you choose using Android's system file picker. Manual backups and exports may also be shared with another application or storage provider when you explicitly choose to do so.
Backup files may contain your Loghaven data. You can protect backups with a password. Password-protected backups are encrypted. If you choose to create an unencrypted backup, its contents can be read by anyone who has access to that file.
The password used for automatic encrypted backups is stored locally in encrypted form using Android's secure keystore.
Once you choose to send or store a backup or export using another application or service, that application or service is responsible for its own handling of the file.
Permissions
Loghaven may request or use the following Android permissions:
- Notifications: to display timer, reminder, backup, and other requested notifications.
- Exact alarms: to provide accurately timed scheduled stops and reminders. You may decline this access. Loghaven can continue operating with less precise scheduling.
- Run after restart: to restore scheduled reminders and timer-related scheduling after your device restarts.
Loghaven does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or general file storage.
Data retention and deletion
Your Loghaven database and settings remain on your device until you delete the relevant data, clear the app's storage, or uninstall Loghaven.
Backup and export files saved outside Loghaven are not automatically deleted when the app is uninstalled. You can delete those files using the application or storage provider where you saved them.
Loghaven does not maintain a server-side account or copy of your data, so there is no remote account or server data to delete.
Children's privacy
Loghaven is a general productivity application and is not specifically designed for children. Loghaven does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users because the app does not collect user data.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if Loghaven's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when the policy changes.
